The Bulgarian Performing Folk Ensemble Otets Paissii will stage its annual concert on Saturday, November 19, at the Carnegie Library Music Hall in Homestead. The theme of this year's concert is A Macedonian Mosaic. The Lyuti Chushki (Hot Peppers) folk ensemble from Washington, DC, will be our special guests at the concert.
Following the concert please join us at the Bulgarian Center at 9:00 pm for our monthly Vecherinka dance party, featuring live music, including the sounds of Lyuti Chushki.
General admission tickets for the Fall Concert cost $10 and are available at the door or by phoning 412-461-6188. Seniors and students may purchase tickets for $5. Children under 12 enjoy free admission. A combined ticket for both the Fall Concert and the Vecherinka costs $15. Students and seniors may purchase a combined ticket for $10.
This year's concert is supported by the Heinz Foundation through its Cultural Small Arts Initiative.
