On November 18, 2006, the Otets Paissii Folk Ensemble presented its tenth annual program, Images of Bulgaria, which highlighted the customs and traditions of the Bulgarian and Macedonian people through music, singing and dance.

Nicholas Paul Jordanoff and Joy Holden provided artistic direction. The Children's Dance Group was directed by Elsa Limbach, assisted by Mariana Dotcheva and Kathy Maron-Wood.

This program featured all new material, thanks in part to choreographers Hristo Kolev Ivanov and Kaya Kirilova Ivanova and accordionist Ivan Malinov Trenchev, all of whom have conducted workshops at the Center. The workshops were made possible by a grant from the Heinz Endowments.
