Please join us at the Riverplex entertainment center at Sandcastle in West Homestead for the first ever International Taste of Pittsburgh festival. We will be selling an assortment of tasty Bulgarian specialties, as well as handcrafted gift items.

On Saturday at 6:00 pm, Walter Kolar will give a demonstration of traditional Bulgarian instruments and music. At 8:00 pm, our Otets Paissii folk ensemble will perform on the main stage.

Please join us afterwards at the Bulgarian Center for our monthly Vecherinka dance party, from 8:30 pm till 11:30 pm.

Ticket prices for the International Taste of Pittsburgh event are $8.00 for adults (in advance) and $10.00 at the gate. Tickets cost $8.00 for seniors over 60 and for students with ID; $5.00 for active and retired military members with ID; and $3.00 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under 3 are admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased in advance at sandcastlewaterpark.com. Admission on Friday is $2.00 between 4:00 and 6:00 pm, and is half-price between 6:00 and 8:00 pm for students with a college ID.

The hours are 4:00 pm to midnight on Friday, September 19, and 11:00 am to midnight on Saturday, September 20.

The event is a celebration which brings together the Pittsburgh community for two days of international camaraderie. It will feature traditional and contemporary entertainment, ethnic food and refreshments, an international marketplace, children's activities, performances, dance workshops, beer and wine tastings and more! This event is being presented by Sandcastle and Kennywood Entertainment.

Riverplex is located between Sandcastle and the Waterfront shopping/entertainment complex (behind the Costco shopping center) at 1000 Sandcastle Drive in West Homstead, PA.
