Salsa Dance - Saturday, September 11, 2010 - 8:00 to midnight

Donate to the BMNECC on the Day of Giving - Wednesday, October 13, 2010
The Pittsburgh Foundation has set Wednesday, October 13, as the 2010 PittsburghGives's Day of Giving. The Foundation has allocated $500,000 in matching dollars for non-profit organizations such as the BMNECC. On Wednesday, October 13 - from 12:00 am through 11:59 pm - donors will have 24 hours in which to make online-only contributions. Gifts can be made by credit card only, with a minimum contribution of $25. This fund-matching program is a great opportunity for BMNECC supporters to double their contributions to the Center. Otets Paissii Performing Ensemble Fall Concert - Saturday, November 20, 2010

Heinz History Center Heritage Holidays - November 20 & 21, 2010
The BMNECC will take part in the Senator John Heinz History Center's annual Heritage Holidays event on November 20 and 21, from 10:00 am till 5:00 pm. We will have an informational display in the lobby area, and will sell gift and food items and offer free samples of our homemade Bulgarian banitza. Gifts for sale will include our popular ceramic kitchenware items. The Heinz History Center is located at 1212 Smallman Street in Pittsburgh's historic Strip District.

BMNECC Shopping Night at Ten Thousand Villages - Thursday, December 2, 2010
Shop with us at Ten Thousand Villages in Squirrel Hill from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. The BMNECC receives a percentage of all net sales made in the store during those hours, so please join us! The store is located at 5824 Forbes Avenue in Squirrel Hill, between Little's Shoes and Dollar Bank. Learn more »

Roses For Marie - Available at the Center
Ron DeLelles has written a book, Roses for Marie - A Remarkable Journey of Discovery in Bulgaria, which is available for sale at the Bulgarian Center. Ron is the grandson of John Antonoff, one of the founding members of the BMBA, and Stella Petrova Antonoff - both immigrants from Bulgaria. The story chronicles their lives and describes the story of their daughter Marie (Ron's mother) and her 2004 trip to her parents’ ancestral village in search of long-lost relatives. The book is available for $20, plus $5 shipping and handling.
