The Bulgarian Center is proud to offer a new set of note cards that showcase the fine art photography of Kamen Bonev. Each set contains six note cards featuring a variety of images captured by Kamen at the 2005 National Folklore Festival in Koprivshtitsa, Bulgaria. Every five years, the Koprivshtitsa Festival brings together amateur music and dance ensembles from communities acoss Bulgaria.

Kamen was educated as a photographer and cinematographer at the College of Photography and at the National Academy of Theater and Film Arts, in Sofia, Bulgaria. His professional work includes forensic and medical photography, as well as underwater video and still photography for archeological and biological research. Kamen has also worked as a cinematographer and videographer for a wide array of artistic and commercial projects. His photographs have been published in numerous books and periodicals.
