The BMNECC is proud to host Salsa dances in its large social hall each month on the second Saturday of each month. DJ Jeff Shirey provides the music.

Beginner dance lessons begin at 9:00 pm, and the dances now last till 1:00 am! Dance lessons are taught by Jeff & Colleen Shirey.  Special Salsa dance parties featuring live music are held throughout the year. Check the Salsa Pittsburgh website for info. All ages are welcome. Admission $7.00 and all ages are welcome. There is a cash bar.

Salsa Pittsburgh's Nine-Year Anniversary Party will feature a special viewing of the film, La Epoca, Part II, The Lost Rhythms of Salsa. The film will be screened from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at the BMNECC.  A  question and answer session with the film's director will take place from 9:30 to 10:00. Social dancing and filming for Part III will be from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am. The admission fee for the movie and dancing costs $10.00. Admission for dancing only costs $7.00.
