| In recent years, the Cultural Center has made nearly half a million dollars in physical improvements to its facility, contributing to the beautification and economic revitalization of the surrounding community. It is part of an elite group of places to see and visit in an area that is nationally recognized for its industrial legacy and cultural diversity.
The Cultural Center is proud to be supported by the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD), whose mission is to support and finance regional assets, such as libraries, parks and recreation, cultural, sports and civic facilities and programs. The Center has also received funding from the U.S. National Park Service's Save America's Treasures Program, which is designed to ensure the long-term survival of the national irreplaceable historic and cultural legacy.
